About Monee, IL - Happy to be your hometown Heating & Air Conditioning Contractor!

Monee, IL is a small town not far from Chicago.  With a great deal of small town charm and a long list of events and activities held year-round, Monee is a quintessential Midwestern town.  The weather in this area changes seasonally.  It experiences hot, humid summers and cold, snowy winters with everything in between throughout the year.  This is an ideal area for those who love to watch the seasons change.  It is also a great choice to live, work and play if you love the culture and convenience of Chicago but don’t want to live in the big city.  You are close enough to make day trips without the congestion or crime to worry over.

Chicago sports and football, in particular, are very important in this area.  Nearby Bourbonnais is home to Olivet Nazarene University, where the Chicago Bears hold their training camp each year. Each hot summer, the football team spends a little over a month in the village practicing and preparing for the upcoming season.  Each fall, as the weather cools and the leaves change colors, Monee hosts their Fall Fest which includes carnival rides, music, food and more.  It is a great way to spend some time with the family and enjoy the cooler weather as school starts and football season starts.  This area comes alive in fall in a way that must be experienced to be understood.

As winter approaches and snow begins to fall there is still quite a bit to do in this beautiful area. For example, if you are looking for a little bit of high end retail therapy then a quick trip to Chicago will allow you to shop at some of the best stores and boutiques in the world. Ford City Mall, The Atrium Mall or The Shops at Northbridge are all chic, urban shopping areas that will occupy you a cold, winter day.  Be sure to wear a coat and scarf if you visit the Shops at Northbridge because it is an outdoor area. The Kankakee County Museum is a wonderful educational opportunity with a wide variety of exhibits, from African American history to World War II history to banking and printing history.  On a nice, spring day you should also walk through the gardens. Kankakee River State Park is in nearby Bourbonnais where you can snowmobile or cross country ski in the winter.  There is also much to do there in the spring and summer, of course.
